New Patients

  • New patients are required to complete and submit the confidential Patient Information & Consent Form before their first appointment.
  • A safe online link to the form is provided in the booking confirmation email.
  • The form is also available on the bookings page of our website for online completion and submission at any time. 

Physiotherapy Sessions

  • Patients attending the practice for the first time are expected to arrive early to complete the necessary documentation before treatment can commence. 
  • Physiotherapy sessions are approximately 45 minutes long, during this time a full evaluation will be performed, and treatment provided.
  • In the event of more complex cases, we may call on other members of the team for assistance to ensure that we provide the best care.

Other Services

  • Our other services include:
    • Exercise and Rehabilitation
    • Shockwave Therapy
    • Dry Needling
  • While it is not required for patients who book these services to be existing patients, we advise that you book a first consultation physiotherapy session first before booking any of our supplementary services.

Online Consultation with Mark

  • This service is available to existing patients only.

Sports Massage

  • This service is suitable for all patients.
  • No evaluation, physio treatment or physio advice during this session will be provided.

Home Visits

  • This service is available to existing patients only.
  • If you are a new patient, please book a first consultation at the practice.
  • Should a new patient book a home visit as a first appointment, the appointment will be cancelled and the patient will be requested to book a first consultation at the practice.

Notifications

  • Appointment notifications are sent out via email or text message in advance.
  • Should you not receive any notifications the day before your scheduled appointment, please contact the office to confirm the date and time of your appointment.

Fees And Payment Terms

  • We are contracted out of medical aid and charge Private Rates and not the rates as prescribed by the Department of Health’s Reference Price List (RPL) or Medical Aid Rates.
  • Patients are required to pay on the day of treatment via cash or card.
  • Should you make payment via EFT in advance, you are required to bring along your proof of payment (POP) on the day of treatment.
  • Please note that treatment will be suspended if your account is in arrears.
  • Patients with overdue accounts will be liable for Debt Recovery on an attorney and own client scale of costs.
  • Price increases are necessary and may occur from time to time.
  • Please request a receipt when paying cash.

Cancellations/Rescheduling/Late or Missed Appointments

  • To cancel or reschedule an appointment, we require at least 12 hours’ notice either telephonically, via email or WhatsApp.
  • If you reschedule within less than 12 hours’ notice, we charge a late cancellation fee of R450.00.
  • If you are late for your appointment but within the appointed time slot, you will only be treated for the remainder of the time and at the full cost.
  • If you miss your appointment entirely, and without prior notification, you will be liable for the full cost of the missed appointment.
  • If we need to cancel a scheduled appointment, we will either book you with another physiotherapist of your choice (availability dependent) or reschedule your appointment.
